Weekly Meeting
for Meditation & Dharma Talk

PROGRAM    Most evenings include an hour of sitting and walking meditation, followed by a dharma talk and conversation with Joan Sutherland. An introduction to meditation is held at 6:45 pm on the first Thursday of each month. All are welcome; please arrive on time so we can sink in together.

DIRECTIONS   From the center of town, take East Alameda Road to a left on Gonzales. Take the first right onto Cerro Gordo Road. Go 0.8 mile and turn right into Adam Gabriel Armijo Park. From the parking lot at the bottom of the driveway, take the first path on the left, which has a small sign for “Cerro Gordo Temple” a few feet in.

Koan Salon

WHEN     Every Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 to 5:00

WHERE   A private home in Santa Fe, New Mexico

PROGRAM   A deep and lively weekly conversation over, under, around and through koans, consciousness, and our lives ~ No koan experience necessary but curiosity & meditation experience help

REGISTRATION   Salons are by 8-week subscription ~ The Salon is currently full but there is a waiting list ~ The next 8-week cycle begins on January 21, 2009

Half-Day Koan Retreats

PROGRAM   Half-day retreats in which we spend more time with koans and meditation ~ No koan experience necessary but meditation experience helps ~ All are welcome; for newcomers, this is the koan event to begin with
